The story of Wayne’s Body Shop began in 1973 when founder, Wayne Kennedy opened his business in a two-stall garage on 48th Street in Lincoln, Nebraska, and eventually moved to it's flagship location on Cooper Ave. His mission and vision were simple; honest auto body repair done by skilled technicians.

Craig Johnson joined Wayne’s Body Shop in 1996 as a trained technician and under his management & leadership, the shop grew and became a cohesive team. In 2001, Craig and his wife, Kellie, purchased the shop, retaining its name and employees and in 2013, expanded to a second location.

Craig’s vision for Wayne's Body Shop is to create an efficient operation where every aspect of the business, every employee, customer and vendor would be treated the same; with respect and fairness. At Wayne's, we strive for these principles every day.
